David Rubin, left, lobbied in Long Beach and Sacramento to have the Queen Mary admitted to the National Register of Historic Places.

 

Clydebank Provost Alistair Macdonald and Diane Rush
Clydebank Provost (mayor) Alistair Macdonald presents Queen Mary Foundation president Diane Rush with the Clydebank crest to be given to Long Beach mayor Ernie Kell (in 1993). This was the second overseas mission by the Foundation to cement bonds between Long Beach and Clydebank.
